These vintage berets are from between the 1950s to the 1980s. Each of them is 100% wool and 100% fabulous.
Berets were invented in ancient Greece, then adopted as military headgear in 1889, then became a fashion accessory in the 1920s, and then later became a symbol of revolution in the 1970s. All of the beret's history shows that these will never go out of style!
Each beret measures approx. 10.25" to 10.75" across with a 6" to 6.5" opening. My head is 22" around for reference, and I would wear all of these comfortably.
NOTE: The Light Blue beret is made of angora and wool and has some yellowing on the edges that isn't super noticeable but it is there, see photos. It's also oversized and amazing.
NOTE: The Yellow beret is quite small, it would be perfect for a small head or a youth/child head.
These do have stretch and will fit most head sizes and hair types. If you have a specific question about beret measurements, please send me a message through the "Contact Us" page.
All items are preloved and may show natural signs of wear. Anything major will be noted and photographed.
